I was born during the end of the 'Great Depression' in 1938 to a poor sharecropper family. There were eight kids in our family: five from my father's first wife, who is my mother. I was 22 months old when my mother died, and I have no memory of her. Daddy's second wife had three children; one died shortly after birth.

My brothers and I started working in the fields as soon as we were able; I was three years old. I picked cotton with a small sack and a homemade strap to pull the sack up and down the cotton rows. I was paid a nickel for each sackful brought to the scales. I started public school at the age of five; riding on a school bus after walking about a mile to reach the pick-up point.

I was good in school and went to college at UT in Knoxville to study Civil Engineering. I didn't graduate but went to work as a land surveyor. When I was 32 years old, I married my wife, and we have two kids, a boy and a girl. We now have five grandchildren: two girls and three boys.

When I reached forty years of age, I felt the Holy Spirit calling me, and I joined the local church and was Baptized. I started studying my Bible and eventually received a master's degree in religious theology. Because of my Bible research, I realized most churches were not preaching the complete message God had given in his written word, the Bible. All I knew to correct these shortcomings in church teaching was to START WRITTING BOOKS TO SHOW WHAT THEY SHOULD BE TEACHING.

My first book was "A Path Thru the Weeds". It didn't go over too well. I then decided to write some fiction novels, and they received some praise. I made a little money through Amazon by selling them there. I used the money to write more religious works, hoping some people might buy them and finally understand what God is working out in this "age". I've been successful in doing this.
